#146 Platinum diamond sapphire ring

One lady’s 950 platinum diamond and sapphire ring.  The ring is bezel set with one round brilliant cut diamond measuring 6.34-6.36 x 3.98 mm.  The diamond weighs 1.03 ct. and has been weighed loose.    The diamond is I/J color and VS2 clarity.  The girdle is medium to thick and faceted.  The table is 61%.  The depth is62 %.  The ring is channel set with sixteen custom cut french cut sapphires.  The trapezoid shaped measure 2.0 x 2.0 x 1.5 mm.  The baguette shaped french cut sapphires measure 3.0 x 1.5-.8 mm.  The sapphires are deep intense blue.  They are well cut and matched.   The top is also bead set with eight round brilliant cut diamonds.  They are set in the sections dividing the sapphires. The diamonds average 2.0 mm and are an approximate total weight of .24 ct.  The diamonds average H-I color and VS clarity.  The approximate total weight of all the diamonds is 1.27 ct.  The ring weighs 7.6 grams.   Photos.
